The core of the content on the FP-C exam has been taken from
the text "Air and Surface Patient Transport Principles and
Practice" by Mosby. It is an excellent source for your
study. CAMTS guidelines and knowledge of FAR Part 135 is
also necessary.
We remind candidates that this exam is
a critical care exam and does not test entry level knowledge
but rather that of an experienced practitioner.
We recommend that candidates new to
critical care prepare for the exam over a 12 month period,
covering several chapters of the study material each month.
The Bacfield group provides an
excellent prep class for the FP-C exam and can be reached at
www.bacfieldgroup.com They provide these classes at the
two annual conferences and at a variety of locations around
the country each year.
Further information on study assistance can be obtained at
the website for the International Association of Flight
